Karow is a Berlin district on the outskirts of the town. It is very well connected by public transport. The house is quietly located on a park-like property of approx. 1300 m2. Also on the property is house 2 with a Guest apartment.
The house was built in 2023 as an energy-efficient house with geothermal heating. The living space is 130 m2. All rooms have underfloor heating and central ventilation with heat recovery. The house has approx. 90 m2 Terraces. WiFi is available throughout the entire area. There is a carport with an electric charging station on the property for cars
There are 3 single rooms and 1 double room in the house. 2 additional people can use the guest apartment in house 2. Electric shutters are in all rooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishes, glasses, cutlery.
The house has 2 shared bathrooms, toilets and walk-in showers. A washing machine is located in the upper bathroom.
A new Yamaha Silent Piano for acoustic use (tuning 440 Hz) is available, which can also be used digitally (playing the built-in samples from Bösendorfer or Yamaha silently via headphones. Internal and external recordings are possible) A Yamaha Grand Piano G2 in house 2 can be used after prior arrangement. Various rental instruments can be made available: guitars, recorders, ukuleles, cajon, djembe, small percussion, as well as guitar amplifiers and recording equipment upon request.
Für die Fahrt zur S-Bahn-Station oder für Ausflüge ins Zentrum oder das Brandenburger Umland können Fahrräder genutzt werden. Tischtennisplatte, Federball und Feuerkorb sind vorhanden. Ein Schwenk-Grill kann ausgeliehen werden.
Das Haus befindet sich in 13125 Berlin, Streckfußstraße 9. Die Anreise ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, dem Fahrrad oder dem PKW möglich. Die Berliner S-Bahn-Station Karow (S2) befindet sich in ca. 650m Entfernung (10min Fußweg) Mit dem Fahrrad ist der Panke-Radweg gut zu nutzen. Die Autobahnabfahrten A 114 Bucher Straße und Schönerlinder Straße sind für PKW gut erreichbar.
The house is located in a quiet residential area. We have a good relationship with our neighbors. In order to maintain this and to make living together in the house mindful and uncomplicated, we ask all guests to House rules must be observed.
Feel good in an artistic environment
The rooms in the house are decorated according to color themes. There is a “red”, a “blue”, a “yellow” and a “green” room. On the walls there are reproductions of pictures and graphics by selected artists: Paul Klee (1879-1940) and Sabine Naumann (born 1960). The large park-like garden with plenty of seating invites you to linger and relax. Sculptures by various artists can be found here. Several fountains and two ponds create a stylish natural ambience. The special location between the pulsating city and the idyllic Berlin surroundings gives the holiday home a special charm.
Off to the Berlin area
The nearby Panke cycle path invites you to explore the surrounding area. For example, you can quickly reach the 600-year-old Hussite town of Bernau with its historic city wall by bike. But even on foot you are immediately in nature. In the immediate vicinity is the Karower Teiche nature reserve, a bird paradise and valuable biotope. The legendary “Heidekrautbahn” takes guests from Karow train station directly to Lake Wandlitz and further to Schorfheide.
