Entspannung am Rande Berlins

Karow is a Berlin district on the outskirts of the town. It is very well connected by public transport. The house is quietly located on a park-like property of approx. 1300 m2. Also on the property is house 2 with a Guest apartment. All guests are asked to follow our house rules. .

The house was built in 2023 as an energy-efficient house with geothermal heating. The living space is 130 m2. All rooms have underfloor heating and central ventilation with heat recovery. The house has approx. 90 m2 Terraces. WiFi is available throughout the entire area. There is a carport with an electric charging station on the property for cars

 

There are 3 single rooms and 1 double room in the house. 2 additional people can use the guest apartment in house 2. Electric shutters are in all rooms.

 

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove/oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishes, glasses, cutlery.

 

The house has 2 shared bathrooms, toilets and walk-in showers. A washing machine is located in the upper bathroom.

 

A new Yamaha Silent Piano for acoustic use (tuning 440 Hz) is available, which can also be used digitally (playing the built-in samples from Bösendorfer or Yamaha silently via headphones. Internal and external recordings are possible) A Yamaha Grand Piano G2 in house 2 can be used after prior arrangement. Various rental instruments can be made available: guitars, recorders, ukuleles, cajon, djembe, small percussion, as well as guitar amplifiers and recording equipment upon request.

Bicycles can be used to travel to the S-Bahn station or for trips to the city center or surrounding area. Table tennis, badminton, fire basket are available.

 

Arrival is possible by public transport, bicycle or car. The Berlin S-Bahn station Karow (S2) is approx. 650m away (10min walk). The Panke cycle path is easy to use by bike. The A 114 Bucher Straße and Schönerlinder Straße motorway exits are easily accessible by car.

 

The rooms in the house are decorated according to color themes. There is a “red”, a “blue”, a “yellow” and a “green” room. On the walls there are reproductions of pictures and graphics by selected artists: Paul Klee (1879-1940) and Sabine Naumann (born 1960). Sculptures by various artists can be found in the garden.

Vom Gästehaus in das Zentrum Berlins

Durch die günstige Lage des Hauses sind Ausflüge in die Kulturhauptstadt Berlin naheliegend und inspirierend. Für Freunde klassischer Musik  ist ein Besuch der Philharmonie und des Konzerthauses unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wie wäre es mit einem Abend in einer der Berliner Opern? Oder in einem der berühmten Berliner Theater, dem Berliner Ensemble oder dem Deutschen Theater?
